CTRL-ALT-DEL is a video series from Concrete Theatre that explores the harmful aspects of the internet for a young, teen audience told through a circus sideshow theme. Concrete Theatre was looking for a way to organize their videos in an interactive map experience where the different videos would make up a “fairground”, with tents, a fortune teller, cabinet of curiosity, etc, and each video could be watched in any order. We created an illustration style that balances the sideshow theme with the serious subject matter, and developed a website where videos play when each illustrated piece is clicked on. Small touches of animation throughout also bring the illustrations to life and invite visitors of the site to engage and explore.
